Foam Solutions, Inc - Food Processing Warehouse - Labor Day Void Fill
Foam Solutions was contacted by the warehouse facilities contractor due to a large void identified beneath a tank in the warehouse.
A broken trough drain had eroded the soils below the slab due to the mismanagement of water and steam. Many features of the tank's design often failed due to the constant settlement and shifting of the slab as the soils beneath were compromised.
The tank was a pivotal part of the operation and unable to be dissembled to repair the concrete and sub-grade. Foam Solutions designed a foam injection repair to fill the void beneath the tank and stabilize the slab from further settlement.

Foam Solutions was able to mobilize on the Labor Day Holiday shutdown to make the repairs without any interruption to the processing plant's operation. Our team also filled voids in multiple other warehouse areas while on site and will continue working with the on-site contractor to evaluate future sub-grade repairs.

Foam Solutions, Inc - Dennis J. Moran & Son’s Warehouse Floor Lift
Foam Solutions, Inc was contacted to correct a sunken and shaking warehouse floor. Due to the diminishing nature of the slab, forklift traffic was prohibited near their receivable terminal.
With the business operations running through the receivable terminal, a concrete replacement was too invasive to consider for repairs. Foam Solutions lifted & leveled the warehouse slab 2” in (1) working day, returning the slab to its original position.

Utilizing disturbance monitors, Foam Solutions was able to perform quality assurance and measured zero movements in the slab when forklift traffic would enter and exit the location.
